Staff from New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals, the Department of Conservation, West Coast Regional Council and Ngati Waewae will be together on the West Coast next month answering questions and providing information to the local mining community.
The visits, on Wednesday, 16 May 2018 and Thursday, 17 May 2018 are part of a wider One Window project aimed at reducing the regulatory burden and making government agencies more accessible. This will be the fourth visit of the six-month trial and is open to anyone wanting to find out more about the regulatory processes around mining on the West Coast.
This month's visit will include a drop-in session between 9.30am and 11am on Wednesday (16 May) where staff from all agencies will be available. There will be also be opportunities for people to book appointments to talk to agency staff jointly or individually on Wednesday from 11am, and on Thursday morning (17 May), as well as evening appointments on the Wednesday for those who wish to meet with staff outside work hours.
To make an appointment please contact Cassidy Rae at the West Coast Regional Council on 03 744 7313 or firstname.lastname@example.org advising who you would like to meet with.
