Stopping unwanted Tweets
WCRC is aware that some subscribers to the council's flood alert service on Twitter have been receiving unsolicited Tweets over and above WCRC flood information.
Twitter advise the messages are not spam, but their top Tweets of the day notification.
The simplest way to stop receiving these top Tweet notifications and stay subscribed to the WCRC flood alert service, is to use the reply function on your cellphone and send the words 'set discover off' following receipt of an unwanted Tweet.
