The West Coast Regional Council's Draft Annual Plan for the 2008 - 2009 year is now available for submissions.

Submissions close 5 p.m. Friday, 16 May and Council will hold a Special Meeting on Friday 23 May 2008 at 10.30 am, to conduct hearings on submissions received.

The goal of the Regional Plans are to:

"Establish and implement objectives, policies and methods to achieve the integrated management of the natural and physical resources of the West Coast, under the Resource Management Act 1991"
