West Coast Regional Land Transport Programme 2009-12

The West Coast Regional Land Transport Programme 2009 – 12 (RLTP) was adopted bythe Regional Council on 8 June and is now publicly available. The RLTP includes all transport activities recommended for funding in the region over the three years from 2009/10 – 2012/13. It also includes a financial forecast of anticipated expenditure for the 10 year period through to 2019.

It is important to note that the RLTP is a proposal for funding support, not a funding commitment. Delivery of the RLTP depends on the participating agencies acquiring the necessary funds.

The goal of the Regional Plans are to:

"Establish and implement objectives, policies and methods to achieve the integrated management of the natural and physical resources of the West Coast, under the Resource Management Act 1991"
