Regional Pest Plant Management Strategy

The Regional Pest Plant Management Strategy for the West Coast (the Strategy) was made operative by Council on 14 December 2010.

The reason for the Strategy is to reduce the risk of serious pest plant infestations affecting the region’s most important natural and production environments and builds on the success of the 2005 Strategy.

Several new pest plants have been identified for the West Coast and are included in the Strategy.
