West Coast Regional Walking and Cycling Strategy

Transit New Zealand, West Coast Councils and other agencies are working together to develop a regional walking and cycling strategy. The strategy aims to identify the level of walking and cycling already happening in the region, as well as establish the issues and future needs for increasing walking and cycling activity. An opertunity has been given for you to submit your feedback on the Strategy’s possible vision, what issues or barriers currently exist for walking and cycling, and what opportunities there are for improvement. The Strategy is now in the drafting stages and will be available for submission late this year.
