The West Coast Regional Council has developed an Infoline to enable you to gain easy access to river level and flood information in the West Coast region; from Karamea in the north to the Haast River in the south.
Information will be updated twice daily (6am & 6pm) and more frequently during flood events. The time of recorded data at the monitoring stations is to NZST, (i.e. you need to add one hour to the reported times during summer months).
This is not a toll service, however a nominal charge of 12 cents per minute, will be made to the caller. The Infoline can service up to 200 calls at once. All you need is a touch phone.
