Renewable Energy Assessment

A report has been produced for the West Coast Regional Council that aims to 'identify and assess the renewable energy potential in the West Coast region and provide advice to the West Coast Regional Council (WCRC) on how to realise this potential.'

As the report download size is very large the Appendix G has been seperated from the main document.

The West Coast has a noticeably milder climate than the east coast regions, with fewer extremes of climate.

The West Coast is known for it's mountain scenery, native rainforest and stunning coastline. These features combined with the processes of uplift and erosion - have resulted in a landscape of unique character.

It is Council's aim to preserve this environment for future generations to enjoy.
