Pest Plant Management Plan 2018

The purpose of the Regional Pest Plant Management Plan is to provide the regulatory framework to efficiently and effectively manage or eradicate specified pest plants throughout the West Coast region. 

Following the receipt of submissions a hearing was held on 2nd May 2017 at the West Coast Regional Council Offices. The Decisions Report, and amended Plan resulting from the decisions made, are now complete. Both documents may be viewed below, or in person at the West Coast Regional Council Offices at 388 Main South Road, Greymouth.

Following the release of Council’s decisions on submissions, any person who lodged a submission and is not satisfied with the Council’s decisions on the proposal, may lodge an appeal with the Environment Court. Appeals must be lodged by 1 May, 2018.
