Public notice is given that a Publicly Excluded Emergency Meeting of Council was held on Wednesday 23 July 2025 at 2.15pm.
The reason it was an Emergency Meeting was that notice of an extraordinary meeting could not be given in time and the matter could not wait for scheduled Council meetings.
The outcome of the meeting is that hearing commissioners were appointed for a pending limited notified hearing.
This public notice is given in terms of Section 46 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
The above meeting was held in Council Chambers at WCRC offices, 388 Main South Road, Paroa, Greymouth.
