Meetings, agendas and minutes

Council meetings, reports and agendas are typically open to the public and available online.

Meetings of the West Coast Regional Council are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers at the West Coast Regional Council, 388 Main South Road, Paroa, Greymouth 7805.

There are also the following Standing Committees:

• Environmental Management Committee - meetings are on the first Tuesday of every second month (alternating with Operations Committee)
• Operations Committee - meetings are on the first Tuesday of every second month (alternating with Environmental Management Committee)
• Tenders Committee - meetings are on the first and third Tuesday of each month (as required)
• Corporate Services Committee - meetings are held quarterly
• Risk and Assurance Committee - meetings are held quarterly
• Remuneration and Employment Committee - meetings are held as required (typically twice a year in July and December)

Special rating district meetings
WCRC administers 23 individual rating districts on the West Coast. Within each rating district are numerous river control and flood protection infrastructure that are in place to reduce the severity of impacts on local communities from large, low frequency flooding events or erosion.
